My name is Kelly, and I’m deeply, unapologetically proud to call Canada home. But Canada has never been just a place on a map to me. It’s something you feel—in its people, its places, its quiet communities, its unexpected connections, and the small moments that remind us we’re all part of something bigger.
Lately, our country has felt different. More divided. More polarized. More willing to judge than to listen. And yet, I believe Canada’s heart is still here.
Ten provinces. Three territories. One country. One heart. Maybe it isn’t broken—maybe it’s simply buried beneath all the noise, waiting for us to slow down, listen, care, and remember how to be neighbours.
I’m an artist, a Canadian, a mother, and a wanderer. With paintbrushes in hand and a well-loved sketchbook by my side, I’m setting out to travel this incredible country—to look a little closer, feel a little deeper, and discover the Canada that still connects us.
